About the Isle of Wight Biscuit Company

Baked in the heart of the Isle of Wight countryside

Our main dairy enterprise started in the 1970's on a small dairy farm in the Rew Valley, Ventnor, Isle of Wight. Originally we had nineteen cows which we expanded to one hundred and thirty. Ten years later unable to increase herd numbers further, due to quotas, we moved into pasteurising and packing our milk for the retail market. This rapidly expanded and we moved the processing unit away from the herd.

We now have a range of sweet and savoury biscuits and all our biscuits are made in small handmade batches using the finest ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible.

Our range includes Farmhouse cookies which is our oldest recipe and is a more rustic chunkier style biscuit. Butter Shortbread still made to our original recipe and has been baked here for many years. It is the most delicious melt in the mouth shortbread we have ever come across and now available in more flavours. Butter Crunch, a crunchy all butter biscuit in three varieties, Novelty shaped biscuits and of course our savoury selection.

Our latest edition is our Crumbles range, a soft delicate crumbly textured biscuit perfect with a cuppa. We are always looking at adding to our range and are always keen to hear suggestions. If you have any ideas please get in touch.

Please note, any broken biscuits are rapidly recycled by the office staff. Only two members cannot participate and have retained their slim figures!!!
